Otto

Orion

Age:
Twenty One
Gender:
Male
Sexuality:
Bisexual

Allgeiance:
Outpost 9.
The Shield

Defining Attribute:
Endurance - The Will to Move Forward
Ever since the explosion of Outpost 9, Otto has found more resilience in himself than anyone could have expected. More than just the metaphorical resilience it's taken to keep moving since escaping to Gaea, Otto is physically unwavering. While he's not superhuman, he's much more apt to take punches, cuts, even bullet wounds without stopping to consider the pain. As such, he's well suited to leading his friends from the front lines.
Above Average Skills:
Hand to Hand CombatTrained by Chevy Bragg for several years, Otto can handle himself in a fistfight. Capable of taking on foes much bigger and stronger than him, he's no novice either.
LeadershipA born leader, with ample training throughout his life, Otto is a natural at commanding others. Smart, compassionate, and loyal to a fault, he is capable and willing to do steer his friends towards safety and victory.
Parkour & FreerunningNaturally agile and quick on his feet, Otto has naturally taken to parkour and freerunning through the ruins of the old world.
Basic Understanding Skills:
High School Level Education
Gunplay & Melee Weapon CombatTraining as part of the Outpost security force has granted him decent ability with both firearms and melee weapons in a pinch.
Basic First-AidWhile he's not exactly medically trained, Otto knows how to dress a wound or make a splint in a pinch.

Difficulties & Weaknesses:
NaïveOtto has gone his entire life having only been betrayed once. He trusts people, naturally, and in Gaea, it's fairly likely to get him killed.
InexperiencedOtto is still very much a child of the Outpost. He has no experience on Gaea or traversing its dangers on his own. While he may be quick to adapt, nobody is instantaneous in how they react.
GrapplingOtto is skilled enough at hand-to-hand combat, but he isn't exactly the most flexible or agile person when he's on his back. Grappling tends to be a good way to get him down.

Morality:
Otto strives to be a good person. He'll kill if he doesn't have a choice, but he's almost TOO merciful in most situations. He's compassionate and sees the world through rose-shaded glasses, believing the best of people until they cross the line.
Fatal Flaw:
The Unwillingness to Stop
Both naturally ambitious and driven now by life-or-death circumstances, Otto is more than just stubborn. He will do anything to complete his objective and make sure his people are safe and secure, to any detriment to himself. He isn't tireless, but he'll push himself past the point of exhaustion to get the work done. While it may be admirable, he's constantly grating himself for his efforts, slowly eroding himself to the bone.
Motivation:
Otto is driven chiefly by the responsibility of protecting his friends. His family, really. Revenge on the Braggs, to him, is just the first step on a To-Do List to secure the future of the Outpost 9 survivors- despite how much personal investment he has in it.
